Online Care
Telehealth physical therapy? You may be wondering, "How does that work?"
Well- It works quite well, actually.
Many patients who get their care online don't have access to pelvic health care or physical therapy in general, so online care is perfect.
Telehealth does not replace in person care, but essential if you are unable to get in person services due to COVID-19 or it's difficult for you to make in-person visits due to work schedule, family obligations, wait times and availability of services. If you already have a good program underway and need to "touch-base" or maybe you're just not ready for an in-person or hands on session yet, then video visits are right for you.
All you need is an internet connection and a way to talk to me over my video service. This can be done with your phone, tablet or computer.
What to expect: During your video visit, or also referred to as telehealth session, you'll be asked questions about the history of the symptoms you are experiencing and how they are they impacting your life. You will be screened for complex or serious conditions to be sure that physical therapy or wellness services are appropriate for you.
You'll learn about your condition(s), contributing factors, and together we'll formulate a plan to help you achieve your goals.
