Online Birth Prep Workshop

This online workshop consists of four 1 hour interactive sessions to help you prepare your core and pelvic floor for birth and postpartum recovery.

Tuesdays October 3 - 24, 2023

5:30 - 6:30 pm 

Upon completion of this workshop you will feel empowered in your knowledge of:

  • Pelvic floor and core anatomy; what to do to prepare them for childbirth and faster postpartum recovery.

  • Why pelvic floor relaxation is important for birthing and how you can practice on your own.

  • How to improve the efficiency of your pushing and finding the birthing position that is right for you. 

  • What you can do prior to and during birth to reduce the likelihood and severity of perineal tearing.

  • Understanding the different types of perineal tears and how to best manage them. 

  • Postpartum expectations and recovery of pain, bladder, bowel, and sexual health.

  • Signs you may need individualized help during pregnancy and postpartum and where you can find it.​

Session 4: Postpartum Recovery

Postpartum abdominal check + recovery

Returning to sex postpartum
